VOLUNTEER
All our events and fundraisers are organized and run by dedicated volunteers. Add your name to the P4A volunteer pool! There are many opportunities to get involved. By submitting the form, you will receive an email notifying you of opportunities available.
There are many ways you can volunteer and support PFAA and our students. Here are a few ideas:
1. Join a booster club: Parents can get involved in the school by joining one of our five booster clubs. These clubs have performances and/or events that require extra support.
2. Become a Class Representative: Serve as a connection between the class teacher advisor and the parents for that grade to coordinate class level activities and fundraising efforts.
3. Chaperone school trips: Many school trips require parent volunteers to accompany students on field trips. This is a great way to get involved and it also provides an opportunity to spend time with your child outside of the classroom.
4. Help out on campus: Teachers and staff often appreciate the help of parent volunteers in the classroom or around campus. This can involve assisting with rehearsals, P.E., or helping set up equipment in the classroom.
5. Volunteer in the school library: The school library is another area where parent volunteers are often needed. Tasks may include shelving books or helping students find materials.
6. Assist with school events: PFAA often hold events such the Talent Show, fall carnival, or school plays. These events require a lot of planning and coordination, and parent volunteers can play a significant role in making these events successful.
7. Share your expertise: Parents may have skills or expertise that could benefit the school community. For example, if you are a graphic designer, you could offer to design flyers or posters for school events.
